The Jordan 1 "Shattered Backboard" drops this weekend (6/27) in limited quantities. The sneaker is inspired by the jersey color worn by Michael Jordan during the 1985 Nike exhibition game in Italy. In the game (see video), Michael Jordan gracefully flew threw the air, cocked the ball back with one hand, and finished by shattering the backboard. This is a top shelf Jordan release and put it in the same category as most of the other OG Hi colorways (Bred, Chicago, Royal, Shadow). Good luck to anybody trying to cop this weekend.
